       Over the past four years, I have made presentations and consulted with the leadership of many provincial and local support organizations. Some of their comments are included in the Testimonials page.

       Specific presentations can be customized for staff, boards of directors, families, people with disabilities, volunteers and the community at large.

       I emphasize  in all my presentations  my basic beliefs in the self-determination and empowerment of  people with disabilities and how others can help in the development to that end goal. Key to that process is working together to make choices, providing mutual respect, community development, individualized funding/planning and self-advocacy. Practical suggestions related through personal stories will be incorporated in each presentation.

• Individualized Planning- helping people plan their lives in order to obtain their wants, needs and rights through the provision of an opportunity to make choices.

• Plain Language- its importance in speaking, writing and reading.

       Topics can be combined and designed to address the particular situations, challenges and needs of individual groups and organizations.
